Martha grumbled that Mary was not helping with the chores. This was because Martha was sitting at the feet of Jesus. She was intimately soaking in His teaching, and worshipping Him. Martha was missing the point.

Jesus taught her and us that one thing is needed, Christ.

I am so like Martha. I'm distracted be all of the important things but Jesus teaches me, that only one thing is needed, Christ.
