We can, should, and must rejoice when wicked nations and rulers crumble. It is God‘s judgment. It is a good thing when God brings vengeance upon the wicked, and we should not second guess God for bringing such judgment.

But at the same time, we must remember That it is God who is supreme judge, not ourselves. Vengeance is his, not ours.

Furthermore, we ought to have humility when when we perceive a wickedness and flaws of other nations around us. We should identify and recognize the flaws and wickedness in our own nation. While it is true that we should rejoice on the one true good God conquers evil, nevertheless, this should also put the fear of God in our own hearts. The defeat of the wicked should be a warning to us that if we follow their footsteps, we will arrive at their same destination.
