Limited Atonement
My Difficulties with this doctrine
- 2 Peter 3:9, 1 Timothy 2:4-7,
- John 1:
- John 1.1: the Word is God.
- John 1.4: In Him, (who is The Word and who is God) is life. and the life was the light of men
- John 1.5: Light (truth and righteousness) overcomes darkness (lies and sin). This is the power of God, to overpower our sinful nature, by revealing the truth to us and in so doing give us life.
- John 1.9: The light gives light (life) to everyone.
- So we see: God is the Word, is life, is the light of men, and the light gives life to everyone.
- 2 Peter 2:1
