We want to glorify God but we lack clarity on how to do that. This leads to overcommitment, lack of focus, aimlessness, inability to set effective goals, difficulty saying "no",
What would happen if you had a clear purpose? Wouldn't it be easier to know what you should do, to know what things are distractions and should be ignored, to decide which things are worth focusing on?
When we write a "Well Done" statement we are writing from the point of view of our Lord. We are writing what we hope He will say to us some day.
Identify your Domains of Stewardship, and write a "Well Done" statement in each of those areas of your life.
Read Parable of the Talents.
Matthew 25.21 "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'
| SPIRITUAL | You have been faithful to walk with Me daily, reading My Word and seeking Me in prayer. |
|---|---|
| PHYSICAL | You have been faithful with your health, stewarding your body as the temple of the Holy Spirit, eating healthy and exercising regularly. |
| INTELLECTUAL | You have been faithful with your mind, renewing it daily with truth, seeking wisdom, sharpening your thinking, and not filling your head with lies or worthless thoughts. |
| RECREATIONAL | And you've been faithful in your recreation, respecting your need for rest as a finite creature and making time to enjoy My creation, playing, and drinking to My glory. |
| RELATIONAL | You have been faithful with your family, loving Kim as I loved My church, and raising your children up in wisdom and My instruction. |
| VOCATIONAL | You have been faithful to your work of helping My brothers and sisters become more faithful stewards for My Father's glory. |
| ECONOMICAL | You have been faithful with your finances, not being foolish and not hoarding My money as if it were your own, but using it to care for your family, give to My church, and provide for the needs of others. |
The faithfulness gap is the distance between "Well Done" and right now.
