Sold 12.5k after about 3 weeks.
12.5k X $10 = $125,000 gross revenue
(Don't forget some copies might have been sold on sale.)

~ $125,000 x 43% = ~ $53,750 profit
This is estimated profits from 3 weeks of sales. Don't forget the game took about 3 years for him to make.
